Thlago Environmental Health and Safety Solutions is a Department of Employment and Labor Approved Inspection Authority (Registration nr OH0247-CI 070) and SANAS Accredited OH0247. This unit specializes in occupational hygiene surveys for both the mining and industrial sectors to aid organizations in adhering to occupational health and environmental legal requirements. It serves both small and large enterprises by offering practical solutions and ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 58 of 1993) and the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act No. 29 of 1996).
The company prioritizes sustainable development and environmental preservation, assisting clients in meeting national environmental legislation regarding air, water, and soil pollution as outlined in the National Environmental Management Act.
Thlago Asbestech is a Department of Employment and Labor asbestos contractor (CI084RAC2023/OHH) that provides insured asbestos abatement and removal services for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The team consists of certified professionals who carry out safe, efficient, and reliable asbestos abatement and removal processes to safeguard health and well-being.
Thlago Waste Management is a registered General and Hazardous Waste Transporter with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environmental Affairs, and holds City of Ekurhuleni Waste Management Accreditation.

Mr. Meshack Mthombeni - Managing Director
Mr. Mthombeni is an Environmental Specialist and certified as an Occupational Hygiene practitioner by SAIOH. with extensive experience ni environmental and occupational hygiene across various sectors including industrial, construction, agricultural, commercial, and mining. His work has taken him ot international locations such as Nigeria, Zambia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, and Botswana.
Miss. Gift Mthombeni (CA(SA)) - CFO
Mrs. Gift Mthombeni, a certified Chartered Accountant, is ni charge of managing the company's finances.
Mr. Edgar Lehobo- Air Quality Manager
Mr. Lehobo is a certified Chemical Engineer responsible for air quality Operations, AEL applications ,Isokinetic stack emission sampling, Fallout dust etc.
Miss. Fransisca Riekert- Quality Manager
Ms. Fransisca serves as the Quality Manager, where she is responsible for overseeing the organization’s administrative functions and managing the SANAS 17020 Quality system. Her expertise contributes significantly to ensuring compliance and maintaining high-quality standards within the organization.
Mr. Wonderboy Masilela - Environmental Manager
Mr. Masilela is an Environmental Specialist withironmental Sciences. He has conducted numerous Environmental Impact Assessments, particularly inor. Additionally, he is involved in the implementation of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).
Mr. Poupienah Makgatho- Technical Director
Mr. Poupienah Makgatho serves as the Company Technical Manager. He is a registered Occupational Hygienist with the South African Institute of Occupational Hygienists (SAIOH). Additionally, he holds qualifications in Mine Occupational Hygiene from the Minerals Council and acts as the Technical Signatory for the SANAS Quality Management System.
MR. Gift Bhebhe- LABORATORY MANAGER
Mr. Gift serves as the Technical Manager of the Air Quality Laboratory, where he oversees and manages the implementation of the SANAS 1725 Quality System.
